25 m center fire pistol men - results

With the competition in the discipline 25 m center fire pistol men ended the competitive part of EPSO 2013. Match entered 40 men, among who the champion became representative of Turkey Yusuf Dikec with the final score of 590 rounds. Runner up is Christian Reitz from Germany with the final score of 588 rounds and third place, after a tense shot-off, won Fatih Kavruk also from Turkey (587 rounds and 50 points in shot-off). The best team is the team from Turkey with the final score of 1741 rounds; second best is Ukraine's team with the final score of 1729 rounds, while third place won the team from Finland with the final score of 1727 rounds. Congratulations to the winners!


300 m standard rifle men - results

Last day of the championship competition in the discipline 300 m standard rifle entered 27 men. The best among all was the representative of Austria Michael Podolak with the final score of 586 rounds. With the result of 583 rounds and 26 inner tens, second place won Marcel Buerge from Switzerland, while third place won also Austrian Bernhard Pickl with the final score of 583 rounds and 25 inner tens. First place as a team won the representatives of Switzerland with the final score of 1745 rounds; second place won the team from Norway with the final score of 1743 rounds, and third place won the team from Austria with the finals core of 1742 rounds. The last day of EPSO there will be held two competitions. At 9 AM competition will start men in the discipline 25 m center fire pistol and in 10 AM their match will start men in the discipline 300 m standard rifle.

After the last awarding ceremony, at 4:30 PM Vice-President of ESC Mrs. Kerstin Bodin will officially close EPSO 2013.


25 m standard pistol men junior – results

Today's last match for medals entered 22 junior men in the discipline 25 m standard pistol. First place and gold medal representing Estonia won Peeter Olesk with the final score of 569 rounds. Second place and silver medal with the final score of 567 rounds won Ukrainian Pavlo Korostylov and third place and bronze medal went to the representative of Russian Federation Denis Kartashov with the final score of 558 rounds. As a team, gold medal won representatives of Russian Federation with the final score of 1662 rounds; silver medal won the team from Estonia with the final score of 1648 rounds, while bronze medal won junior men from Ukraine with the final score of 1644 rounds. 25 m standard pistol men – results

Competition in the discipline 25 m standard pistol entered 39 men. Among all, the best was Yusuf Dikec from Turkey with the final score of 578 rounds. Second place with the final score of 575 rounds won Ukrainian Roman Bondaruk and third place representing Portugal won Joao Costa with the final score of 573 rounds. As a team gold medal won representatives of Russian federation with the final score of 1708 rounds; silver medal went to the team from Turkey with the final score of 1707 rounds, while third place won Ukraine's team with the final score 1706 rounds. Today's second competition entered 27 men among which the best was Cyrill Graff from France with the final score of 1179 rounds; second best was Josselin Henry also from France with the result of 1174 rounds and 52 inner tens, and third best was representative of Switzerland Marcel Buerge with the score of 1174 rounds and 46 inner tens. The best team was the team from France who, with the final score of 3522 rounds, set the new World and European record. The team from Switzerland took second place with the final score of 3487 rounds and third place went to team representing Norway with the final score of 3483 rounds. Congratulations to winners!

Day before the last day of EPSO there are three competitions scheduled and two Pre-Event Trainings. At 9 AM the fire line will approach men competing in the discipline 25 m standard pistol. At 9:15 AM in the 300 m shooting range will start the competition in rifle 3 positions for men and at 1 PM in the discipline 25 m standard pistol will competition will approach junior men. Pre-Event Trainings will be held in the discipline 25 m center fire pistol for men (at 2:45 and 4:30 PM) and in the discipline 300 m standard rifle also for men.

Today's third competitions in the discipline 300 m rifle 3 positions entered 20 women. Best among all was the Anzela Voronova, representative of Estonia, with the final score of 586 rounds. Silver medal won Karolina Kowalczyk from Poland with the final score of 582 rounds, while bronze medal went to the Ukrainian Lessia Leskiv with the final score of 581 rounds. Team champions are representatives of Switzerland who, with the final score of 1727 rounds, evened current World and European record. Second best is the team from Poland with the final score of 1722 rounds and third place won the team from Norway with the final score of 1696 rounds. Congratulations to the winners!

Today's competitions in the discipline 300 m rifle prone entered 28 men after yesterday's elimination matches. First place and gold medal won the representative of Sweden Andres Brolund with the final score of 599 rounds. Second place and silver medal won Marcel Buerge from Switzerland with the final score of 598 rounds and 45 inner tens, while third place and bronze medal with the final score of 598 rounds and 33 inner tens representing France won Valerian Sauveplane. Gold medal as a team won representatives of France with the final score of 1788 rounds and 98 inner tens. Silver medal went to representatives of Sweden who had only 3 inner tens less than the champions from France (1788 rounds and 95 inner tens). Bronze medal won the team from Denmark with the final score of 1783 rounds. Congratulations to the winners!

Second today’s competitions entered 30 junior men. In the discipline 25 m pistol with the final score of 590 rounds the best among all was Ukraine’s representative Pavlo Korostylov who also set the new World and European record for this discipline. Second place won the representative of Russian Federation Nikita Sukhanov with the final score of 582 rounds and third place won his team mate Pavel Yudin with the final score of 579 rounds. As for the team results, the best is the team of Russian Federation with the final score of 1739 rounds, second place won the team from France with the final score of 1711 rounds, while third place with the final score of 1708 rounds won the representatives of Germany. At 9 AM 12th day of the championship will open junior men with competition in the discipline 25 m pistol. 15 minutes later, after yesterday's eliminations, the fire line will approach men in the discipline 300 m prone. Today's last competition will start at 11:15 AM in the discipline 300 m rifle 3 positions for women. Today will also be held two Pre-Event Trainings for tomorrow's competitions – at 1 PM in the discipline 25 m standard pistol for men and at 2 PM in the discipline 300 m rifle 3 positions for men.

Today 36 men finished the competition in the discipline 25 m rapid fire pistol. With total of 32 points won in the final, the best among all shooters was the representative of Ukrain Roman Bondaruk. Second place won Alexei Klimov from Russian Federation with the final score of 31 points, and third place representing Germany won Christian Reitz with the final score of 27 points. The best among teams is the team from Germany with the final score of 1742 rounds which is also the new European record for this discipline. Second best is the team from Russian Federation with the final score of 1728 rounds, while third place won representatives of Poland with the final score of 1715 rounds. Competition in the discipline 300 m rifle prone women entered 28 women. First place and gold medal won Charlotte Jakobsen from Denmark with the final score of 595 rounds and 28 inner tens. With only one inner ten less (595 rounds and 27 inner tens) second place and silver medal won Olivia Goberville representing France, while third place and bronze medal won the Germany's representative Gudrun Wittmann with the final score of 594 rounds. As for the team results, the best are representatives of Germany with the final score of 1767 rounds, second best is the team from Switzerland with the final score of 1766 rounds and third placed is the team from Estonia with the final score of 1765 rounds. 10th day of the championship will open men at 9 AM starting the second stage of the competition in the discipline 25m rapid fire pistol. There will also be held two competitions in the discipline 300 m prone – women will start their match at 9:15 AM, while men will start their elimination match at 11:15 AM. Today at EPSO 19 junior men finished the competition in the discipline 25 m rapid fire that started yesterday. First place and gold medal individually won Ralf Hehn from Germany with the final score of 25 points. Second place and silver medal went to Nikita Sukhanov representative of Russian Federation with the final score of 21 points, while third place and bronze medal won Peeter Olesk representing Estonia with the final score of 20 points. Best among all teams is the team from Germany with the final score of 1693 rounds; runner ups are junior men from France with the final score of 1691 rounds and third placed are representatives of Russian Federation with the final score of 1688 rounds. Competition in the discipline 50 m 3 positions entered 64 men. Among all, the best competitor was Nazar Louginets representative of Russian Federation with the final score of 452.3 rounds. Second place and silver medal won Valerian Sauveplane from France with the final score of 451.6 rounds and third place and bronze medal won Vitali Bubnovich from Belarus with the final score of 441.4 rounds. As a team the best were representatives of France who, with the final score of 3513 rounds, won the gold medal, and also set new World and European record. Silver medal won the team from Russian Federation with the final score of 3509 rounds and bronze medal went to representatives from Belarus with the final score of 3501 rounds. Today at the shooting range Pampas you can see two competitions. Eight day of the championship starts at 9 AM with the competition in the discipline 25 m rapid fire pistol for junior men. Only 15 minutes later, at 9:15 AM, starts the competition in the discipline 50 m rifle 3 positions for men. Besides competitions, there will be held one Pre-Event Training, from 2 to 5:30 PM, in the discipline 25 m rapid fire pistol for men.

Individually the first place and gold medal representing Italy won Dario Di Martino with the final score of 187.8 rounds. Only 0.1 round (187.7 rounds) less had runner up Artsiom Lukyanavets from Belarus and third place and bronze medal went to Kamil Gersten from Poland with the final score of 164.0 rounds. Competition in the discipline 50 m 3 positions entered 74 women. In the final for gold, silver and bronze medal shot eight of the best women among which the best was representative of Germany Ameli Kleinmanns with the final score of 456.2 rounds. Silver medal went to Croatia's Snježana Pejčić with the result of 453.9 rounds and third placed Ivana Maksimović from Serbia took the bronze medal with the final result of 440.0 rounds. First place as a team won representatives from Poland with the final score of 1737 rounds; second place won the team from France with the final score of 1736 rounds and 82 inner tens. Bronze medal won the girls from Poland who had only one inner ten less than team from France (1736 rounds and 81 inner tens). Congratulations to the winners!

This morning at 9:15 AM competition in the discipline 50 m rifle prone men junior started 74 junior men. Roberto May from Switzerland showed to be the best with the final score of 206.6 rounds. Second place and silver medal representing Hungary won Sandor Nagy with the final score of 205.7 rounds while third place and bronze medal won Italian Simon Weithaler with the final score of 183.3 rounds. With the score of 1855.8 rounds team from Switzerland not only won the gold medal, but also set the new junior team World and European record for in this discipline. The only Olympic discipline shot today was 25 m pistol for women. 46 women competed and the best among all, after a tense and an exciting finals and shot-offs, was Heidi Diethelm Gerber from Switzerland who won the shot-off with the result 7:3. Second place and silver medal won Munkhbayer Dorjsuren from Germany. For the third place and bronze medal shot-off Germany’s Monika Karsch and Spain’s Sonia Franquet. After 12 shots the victory went to the Germany’s representative. Gold medal for team won the representatives of Russian Federation with the final score of 1743 rounds. Silver medal won the team from Germany with the final score of 1735 rounds and bronze medal winners are Serbian national team shooters with the final score of 1728 rounds. Individually the best shooter was Ukraine’s national team shooter Nattalia Kalnysh whose final score of 597 rounds and 36 inner tens is the same as current European and World record for this discipline. Two rounds less had a runner up Ramona Gössler, 595 rounds. Third place won to Kata Veres representing Hungary with the final score of 593 rounds. As for team results, first place won Ukrainian national team with the final score of 1767 rounds and 100 inner tens. Only one inner tens less had the runner ups from Germany (1767 rounds and 99 inner tens). Third place won the team from Poland with the final result of 1764 rounds. Congratulations to the winners!

After yesterday's eliminations, second competition of the day entered 75 men in the discipline 50 m rifle prone men. After a tense final, with the small advantage of 0.2 rounds, gold medal won French national team shooter Valerian Suaveplane who ended the final with the score of 208.8 rounds. Silver medal went to Germany's Henri Junghaenel with the score of 208.6 rounds and bronze medal with the final score of 187.4 rounds won Sergei Martynov from Belarus. Besides winning the gold medal, team from France set the new World and European record with the score of 1873.6 rounds. Silver medal went to the Belarusian team with the score of 1872.7 rounds and bronze medal won the team from Denmark with the result of 1872.0 rounds. As fifth the final entered Croatian national team member Ivica Štritof who ended the match at sixth place. Congratulations to winners!


50 m Rifle 3 Positions Men Junior – Results

Best among all was Andre Link representing Germany with the score of 455.1 rounds; second best was Italian Simon Wethaler with the result of 452.8 rounds and third best was Austrian Gernot Rumpler with the score of 440.6 rounds. Second day of the competition the fire line will firstly approach 66 junior men in discipline 50 m rifle 3 positions starting at 10 AM. The next and final competition for today will start at 2 PM in discipline 50 m rifle prone men and, after yesterday's eliminations, the competition will enter 75 men. Also, there will be held four Pre-Event Trainings: two trainings for discipline 25 m pistol women (at 9 and 11:15 AM) and trainings for 50 m rifle prone both for women (at 3:30 PM) and junior women (at 5 PM).


New World and European records set at EPSO 2013!

First day of competitions and we already have new World and European records! Among others, eliminations for men in the discipline 50 m rifle prone entered Ukrainian shooter Serhiy Kulish who set the new junior World and European record for this discipline with the score of 626.5 rounds. In the same match a team from France set the new TWR and TER which is now 1873.6 rounds. Records that were set once again confirm excellent conditions that shooting range Pampas offers to the shooters, and show that organisation of EPSO 2013 is at a very high level.


25 m pistol junior women – results

The second competition today was held in the 25m pistol women junior. Competition entered 39 juniors and the top eight shot in the final. After five series of the final, the first place took both Russian Anastasia Ryzhikh and Hungarian Nikoletta Mihalko. The third place was also a tie between Joanna Tomala from Poland and Doreen Vennekamp from Germany. In the shot-off for the gold medal with the score 7:3 won Anastasia Ryzhikh and silver medal went to Nikoletta Mihalko. In the second shot-off, with the same score as in first one, the bronze medal won Joanna Tomala. As for the team results the first place won the team from Russian Federation with the total score of 1710 rounds; second place won Germany’s team with the total score of 1701 rounds, and, finally, the third place won Ukraine’s team with the total score of 1687 rounds. 50 m rifle 3 positions women junior – results

Today's first competition was reserved for 69 junior women in discipline 50 m rifle 3 positions. In the finals the best was Malin Westerheim from Norway with the score of 456.5 rounds. The second place with the score of 452.6 rounds won Jaquelin Orth from Germany, and third place went to Selina Gschwandtner also from Germany with the score of 442.6 rounds. As for team results, golden medal won Germany junior women team with the score of 1738 rounds. Silver medal went to the Norway team with the score of 1723 rounds and 72 inner tens and the bronze went to the girls from Russia with the score of 1723 rounds and 64 inner tens. Croatian competitor Marta Zeljković entered the final as sixth and ended up as an excellent fourth. Congratulations to winners!

EPSO 2013 formally opened!

EPSO 2013 is formally opened! At the opening ceremony the guests were addressed by the President of the EPSO Organizing Committee Zvonimir Kovačević, County Prefect Vladimir Šišljagić, Mayor Ivan Vrkić, President of Croatian Olympic Committee Zlatko Mateša and Vice-President of European Shooting Confederation Kerstin Bodin who formally opened EPSO 2013. Oath in the name of shooters was spoken by the Croatian Olympian Snježana Pejčić and on behalf of the judges Biljana Šimić. Programme of the opening ceremony was enriched with the performances of pianist Damir Šenk, vocal ensemble Akvarel and dance couple of the dance studio Shine.

Today's most important event is the opening ceremony of EPSO 2013. Programme will contain musical and dance routines which will be performed by pianist Damir Šenk, band Akvarel and dance couple of the dance studio Shine. The opening ceremony will be attended by numerous state, county and city representatives and senior officials of the European Shooting Confederation. Vice-President of ESC Kerstin Bodin will declare EPSO 2013 open. Programme starts at 20,30 h!

Today, 19th July 2013, at 11 AM on shooting range „Pampas“ was held the first official press conference before the opening of the 34th European Shooting Championship. The conference was followed by the local media. The period o preparation was presented by Deputy Mayor Vladimir Ham, OC President Zvonimir Kovačević and Competition Manager Zoran Ćelić. At the conference they presented the basic information of this year’s championship and also pointed up how EPSO 2013 was assigned to Osijek, the innovations in relation to EPSO 2009 and increase of the number of regional representatives in such an important European competition. Representatives of OC used this opportunity to thank all of the sponsors who recognized EPSO as an valuable sports event for the Osijek-Baranja region and Croatia itself.
